While my family member was there, he experienced things as waiting 45 minutes for a bedpan, having his lunch meal totally forgotten about and then told it was HIS FAULT. Although he was there for rehab, only having 2 therapy sessions, going 2-3 days without being bathed ( also informed that was his fault), days upon days without having his teeth brushed, and the worst of it all was HAVING RED BAG CONTAMINATED TRASH LAYING ON THE FLOOR OF HIS CLOSET BESIDE THE SHEETS AND PADS THEY WERE PLACING ON HIS BED ( please see pic below). I personally threw all that stuff away!

So, I've already posted a review on this Long Term Acute Care Rehab Hospital on their own Facebook page. I was very surprised to see that the Chief Compliance Officer read and noted my review ( which was honestly terrible) and reached out to speak to me about our experiences here. I REALLY hoped that this gentleman cared about the way patients are treated but instead of contacting me directly, here had the Chief Nursing Officer call me, whom I'd already spoken to while my Grandad was an inpatient.

My grandfather was admitted to Select in Camp Hill in October 2017. My family was very impressed with the care he received at this facility. The nursing staff provided excellent care and were attentive to his needs. We found the staff to be knowledgeable - all of my families questions regarding his care were answered in a professional manner. The doctors were compassionate and caring to both my grandpa and my family. We definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing long term acute care.
